Jamaica - Jan 2017

Been exactly a year since I was last here.  I am enjoying the perfect weather here in Negril as much as I did last year, and having a great time hanging out with old friends.  So nice to walk on the very fine sandy beach with the blue sky overhead; I especially love the breeze and the fact it’s not humid here! Perfect weather is definitely one of the many things money cannot buy!  I am grateful I did lots of exercise to counterbalance all the food and alcohol I consumed this week on this all inclusive trip! Feeling pretty healthy and not too guilty! LOL!

Lots of exercise to counter balance all the calories this week!

The highlight for me in Negril was watching the beautiful sunset at Rick’s Cafe followed by a nice lobster dinner at Ivan’s bar.  The view was stunning!

Thankful I have my local host to be my guide in Kingston, reportedly one of the top 10 most dangerous cities in the world! After being repeatedly warned by my host and local vendors to put away my phone away, within 2 blocks of downtown, I felt the danger.  We travelled from Negril to Kingston by bus – really a 22 passenger van – but they manage to fit 42 people inside! We had to wait over an hour just to make sure the bus is completely packed before embarking on the 4 hour journey. Thankfully the air condition worked! I was so happy to be make it back to Negril in one piece!

I love the friendly people here and will come back again someday!
