~ UNWAVERING ~
By Amy Lee
In 2008, during a long trip with my mother, I took the opportunity to ask her the story of her life. This monumental excursion led to my passion to write her biography. In 2009, I started writing it. It was then printed and given to her as a birthday gift on September 14, 2011.
My mother is the backbone of our big family. It is within her personal journey and sacrifices as a mother that has led to the success of all her children.
This is a small token of my gratitude to her and I hope that her story inspires my children to learn where their heritage is and live their life to the fullest as my mother has tried to inspire all of us.
I’ve been asked to publish the book many times in the last couple of years, but before I pursue that, I feel it is important to add more depth to the book to reflect my mother’s story in a better way, in the way that she deserves to be portrayed. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to give this project the attention it deserves, so for now, this idea is on hold.
You can read the e-version of the book by clicking the read here button below.
Amy Lee continue to write and share your thought to the world. The information will help someone in life. If it is only one person you have done your job. Look at all the people who to great books to the grave.
Keith, I want to let you know that I sincerely appreciate your comments. I always look forward to getting these comments from you. They have been very inspiring and they validate that what I am writing is valuable. And you’re right. Indeed, there are a lot of great books that have gone to the grave and a lot of people who have gone to the grave without seeing the great books written for them.
Keep on working, great job!
Thanks Mae!
Hi Amy it was a pleasure to meet you and feel the energy you have in your blog.
Life is indeed VERY short and at the end of the day we all stand to give an account of how we used our time.
As we all tread through time, it’s so important to be sure that our perspective of life, and in life must be built on objective truth or else we would have lived in vain.
You have been given many wonderful gifts Amy, and to get to where you are requires help from an outside source..[unless things happen by chance]. You are blessed indeed.
By the looks of your experiences you have used and continue to be using your blessings to benefit others…indeed the people around you are blessed by you Amy! Thanks from all your friends from around the globe.Keep up your great fortitude girl, as you’re one amazing Amazon!
From the movie: The Fellowship of the Rings…
Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.
Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was MEANT to find the Ring. In which case, you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought.
Hello Chi,
Thank you very much for such a wonderful mail. Indeed, I make sure that I waste no time.
Regards
A powerful biography about love, hard work and perseverance. As a young woman I felt very inspired by the determination I encountered as I read each chapter. I hope too, one day to be a strong, courageous and have an unwavering spirit as the woman in this book.
