During spring break this year, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Deon is into Broadway shows. Therefore, after the road trip in Europe, I decided to take him to New York to watch three shows before school began again. He really wanted to see Hamilton and Phantom of the Opera and I wanted to see Miss Saigon. Even though the tickets for Hamilton was $1800 for a pair in the secondary market, it was all worth it because I saw how much he appreciated that show. Nowadays I much prefer to spend my money on an “experience” over any material possession (properties excluded). So glad we went!
