The Importance of Collaboration In Building Business

April 11/14  – Having a partner, whether personal or business, who understands, supports, completes you and contributes to your growth can really make the difference.

This is why I am grateful and humbled that my partner, International Grandmaster Maurice Ashley, thinks that I am a great fit as his “best partner” for MC (Millionaire Chess).  Well, the feeling is mutual; I couldn’t ask for a better colleague.   And I am equally grateful that we both understand the importance of having ideal partners who are willing to go that extra mile to achieve the organizational goals.  Our main goal now is to provide the game of chess with the mass exposure it deserves, a visibility which has been long awaited on by chess enthusiasts across the globe.

In business, we have partners and we have collaborators.  We are happy to announce that Millionaire Chess and the US Chess Federation now have a promotional agreement in place to spread the word about the Millionaire Chess Open. We, at MC, believe that our promotional agreement with the USCF will help propel the marketing of our tournament and help encourage both the amateurs and GMs to participate.  This, in turn, will help level up the game of chess, a level only a few games in the modern sports arena enjoy. Yes, dare a say, it’s the millionaire level!

USCF Executive Director Jean Hoffman had this to say: “The USCF is excited to work with Millionaire Chess to promote such an historic event. Part of our mission has always been to promote chess in the United States, and we believe that the Millionaire Chess Open will help raise the game’s profile as well as bring in new fans.”

International Grandmaster Maurice Ashley, Partner at Millionaire Chess, added: “It’s fantastic to be able to work with the USCF to bring chess into the limelight. We see this relationship as an opportunity to promote the great game of chess with a tournament that can excite its broad and loyal fan base. This is the start of something transformative for chess in the United States.”

I am really excited about this collaboration and hope that we will be able to reach a broader audience base across the globe with the help of USCF’s legendary experience. On this exciting occasion, I invite all the wonderful chess players around the world, to come join us in making this mega event even more exciting and worth remembering!

    1. Hi Jaye,

Thank you for this comment. I have actually not toyed with the idea of inviting guest writers for the site. I am not sure about the future though. Keep on writing and let’s see. It’s an idea though. Good luck!
