Jan. 17/08 – I have zero knowledge about stock trading. But it intrigues me somehow. My curiosity started when I asked some people their advice on RIM that BG told me about. With their inputs and my continued positive thoughts, I got inspired to get involved in it.
So now, I just enrolled myself to take the stock trading course. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that there won’t be too much “reading” involved; am not really good at it. On the other hand, I think the class will be fun and challenging at the same time. And I am already envisioning how satisfying it will be to buy and sell stocks with my own money after I retire next year.
I told TS about it and he said that he totally can see me doing well because he knows how NOT “greedy” I am yet am NOT a “sore loser” either. He himself has been heavily involved in it since 1991 so he has been sharing a lot of info with me already. TS and Pop had both said they want to give me all their money to invest it for them when that day comes, even after I told them that I knew nothing about politics and news around the world to be a good stock trader. He just laughed and said, “You’ll be fine, just go for it”!!!
Wanna know how “positive” my thoughts expanded? Remember the fortune teller says that I will be “filthy” rich? I was thinking that since I truly am “ready” to retire next year then, how the heck will I become “filthy” rich even if I still play the “investor” role? It just doesn’t make sense. But when I decided to get involved in stocks, it just “clicked” – THIS could be it!!! Hahahhaa. I even started to listen to the news in the car this morning to start to be “updated” with what’s going on in the world.
