Nov. 25/07 – Why do people have to test my bottom line??? I never said I am not a bitch when one is on my “bad side”!!
Man, am so proud of myself today!! Sandy called last night and left a voicemail about wanting to have breakfast with me today. I didn’t call her back till just now and it’s 1pm. I said I was busy with the kids cause our nanny was off. She said she needed to file for bankruptcy but I said I didn’t know anything about it so she should just call a lawyer or an accountant for advice. I sounded really cold and short.
She then asked if I could recommend some weekend cash jobs for her. I said I didn’t know of any. And then, I told her, ” Sandy, understand something. You gave me every reason to not trust you again, after all the 3 chances I have given you. Therefore, how do you expect me to get you any job? When I wrote off the money you owed me, I wrote off our friendship with it, so please don’t call me again.”
Man, I was proud of myself for having said that!!! I guess I just moved up another floor on the EQ tower!!!
Oh btw – she’s doing it again. I caught her at the casino last time I dropped Tom off. I went to washroom and by the time I came out, she had already disappeared. But I was sure she had seen me. And now, she wants my advice regarding filing for bankruptcy. File for bankruptcy because she couldn’t manage her addiction? Ask me for a job and then go on gambling?
