It pays to be OC (Obsessive Compulsive) = 6.5

Iguazú Falls (Argentina Side) - 012May 3/08 – I just came back from auntie to pick up my refund of 100K for an overpayment I made.  She apologized for the oversight; accepted.  I feel very sorry for her because she is so paranoid about money matters when there is absolutely no reason to be.  She looked terrible because she felt awful about this mistake. I genuinely never once felt she meant to rip me because I know that she has a great heart but it’s just that she is very forgetful.

This experience just confirmed all those years of extra work to keep my bookkeeping up to date and keeping all details all these years was a great pattern to have. Maintaining this is additional work, additional time and additional expense.  But now, my being an obsessive compulsive has paid off.

I am happy not only because I got the money that I knew  is mine but I was also able to prove how far my generosity can go because I gave the money to her a month ago only because she claimed that it was hers.

What mom taught me back then is right. Truth will eventually come out because “paper can not cover fire”!!
