May 15/08 – I have been curious about hypnotism ever since I was a teenager and all because of watching a Chinese soap opera where they showed people being hypnotized. I wanted to try it simply to have that experience. However, it was an epic failure – my mission failed. I didn’t have the “min requirement” for the hypnotist to start hypnotizing me: imagination. Even after she had given me a dozen of ideas and events that I could imagine, feel or visualize, I wasn’t able to do any of those.
The hypnotist said that in her 20+ years of hypnotizing, I am only the 2nd person with this problem. She suspected that in one of my past lives, I must have witnessed something really traumatic that I “decided” to block out my imagination about some things.
Too bad that I lacked a very important gift – visualizing.
