Dec. 24/08 – After dinner, the children invited me to play mahjong with but I couldn’t take the book “The Concubine’s Children” off my hands. So Kel end up making fun of me by saying “Hurry up, Librarian.” He then lectured me on how difficult it is to become a writer. He said, “Do you know how many stories get rejected before one gets published?” He told me to “stop dreaming.” I feel so hurt and discouraged!! But I used his joke as a motivation and I look forward to personally deliver a signed copy of the book after it gets published.
