“Amy is no doubt a very determined and goal-oriented person. Anything she has her eyes on, she will find ways to achieve it. She constantly looks for challenges in business and in personal life. Her unique sense in business was established in her early childhood. At the age of 15, she helped her family run the only high-end Japanese restaurant for over 15 years while she was going to secondary school.
The experience Amy gained from her family business helped her excel in other ventures in the coming years. She was the pioneer in many businesses. Just to name a few, Amy was a constant top producer as mortgage specialist in the bank she worked at. She was one of the first few entrepreneurs who started the popular dollar store franchise. Also, she was the first few Asian female builders who was bold enough to invest in and build multi-million dollar homes in the prestigious Vancouver West Side.
Amy has many beliefs that she lives by, one of which is: “I will teach you how to fish, but I won’t fish for you.” This belief has led her into putting her best effort in everything she does to achieve what she wants.
