Feb. 28/08 – I was talking to Kam from 10:30pm last night to 5:30am today. It’s been a long time since we talked. I now totally feel the connection that I thought we lost for a while and I feel very good about it. Now, we’re almost completely caught up with each other’s life again. Oh btw, he will be moving to the Interior in 2-3 months.
Kam took Kel out for dinner tonight to help him answer deep questions that have been bothering him and gave him advice. This is an opportunity that Kel has been requesting from Kam quite a few times now. Kel is currently struggling about another episode of life’s crossroads again – part of growing up: he doesn’t want to go back to his dad’s house anymore, he is having some girl issues, life issues, university choice, etc etc…
Uncle Kam is still Kel’s #1 mentor!! I am so grateful for having Kam as my best friend and his being there for me especially during my “tough single parent’s journey”! Will treasure him forever!!
