To my friends and followers outside BC, The Province is a tabloid published daily except Saturday and on certain holidays. It is one of the most respected source of information in BC. When I started MC, to maximize what media can do for the event was a primary goal. To be featured as me was not in my mind. It brings thus an honour for me that I be recognized in my own hometown; to be acknowledged that a local can change history at an international level. Certainly, for one who does not “really” play chess, I am humbled to be called queen of chess soon.
