Feb 21/10 – 13th Ave was done 2 weeks ago and TS finally moved into TSV yesterday.  Therefore, I am officially “Ha Gong” (Chinese phrase meaning jobless, laid off, unemployed or retired early) starting today!!

I feel my “passion” for construction is completely OVER now!! Actually this past week felt kinda funny but nice to wake up with so few emails daily as there aren’t many questions anymore left to be answered since sites are at final stages.

My next wish is for Joyce to come home with 1/2″ of mail each week instead of 3″!! Hopefully that can happen by the end of summer….

It will be interesting to see what my 2010 path will be like since this is the first year I purposely didn’t make a resolution list!! Really trying on the “BEING” thingee… LOL

For now, the only decision I made was to be a “full time mom” and “part time student”…  It’s a bitter sweet feeling to be able to embark on a decision I made long ago without having to worry about finances.  The road to where I aim now has not been easy.  I gave up a lot during the process too including spending time with Kel and Jo while they were growing up. Working 18-20 hrs a day with tons of stress wasn’t fun at all. Plus it wasn’t easy or healthy to be sleeping an avr 4 hrs a day for 6 years straight either!!

Looking back now, there are minor things that I would have done differently, but overall I have no regret whatsoever in terms of choosing to “first bitter then sweet” or believing in my “go big or go home” theory…

Today especially, I feel very grateful for everything I have accomplished and everyone I have in my life… :)))  The “EFFORT” I put in surely helped raised my self-esteem……

A friend commented that I shouldn’t stop working.  Sure, I won’t.  But definitely not like what I did before.  I will continue to grow, learn, integrate, and enjoy life.
